Orthomolecular Drainage

The drainage combined with cupping therapy combines the benefits of lymphatic drainage with the technique of cupping therapy, which uses cups to create a vacuum on the skin and promote blood circulation. This method is known for its therapeutic and aesthetic properties, helping to eliminate toxins, reduce swelling, and improve the appearance of the skin.

During the procedure, the cups are applied to the skin, and the air is removed, creating a negative pressure. This causes a gentle suction that stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation in the treated area. This technique can be performed with different types of cups, such as glass, silicone, or acrylic, and the intensity of the suction can be adjusted according to the patient’s needs.

The benefits of drainage combined with cupping therapy include:

  • Improved blood circulation: The suction of the cups helps to increase blood flow in the treated area, promoting oxygenation of the tissues.

  • Stimulation of lymphatic drainage: It facilitates the removal of accumulated fluids and toxins, reducing swellings and oedemas.

  • Reduction of pain and muscle tension: The technique alleviates pain and tension, being effective in treating chronic pain and sports injuries.

  • Improvement in skin appearance: It can help reduce the appearance of cellulite and promote firmer, healthier skin.

  • Relaxation and well-being: It provides a feeling of deep relaxation, contributing to overall well-being.
